Guys! I'm officially a certified yoga teacher! It's kind of weird though, because multiple people have started asking me for personal stretching advice. Even weirder is when I start referencing body parts and Sanskrit words in regular conversation. But one of the coolest side effects of teacher training that I wasn't fully expecting is how much it deepened my own practice both on and off my mat. Yes, I'm still the same ridiculous and loud person I was before. But I feel like I have a deeper capacity to connect with myself and control how I feel about and react to things. It's pretty incredible to realize both the physical control you have over your body and the mental control you have over your mind. I'm pretty grateful to have had this opportunity to learn and grow as a yogi and as a human.
